Upcycle your leftover candles and give them new purpose! Turn them into beautiful centerpiece displays using Krylon® Fusion All-In-One® and Krylon Sea Glass.
Find used candles that have burned all the way down.
Step 2
Using a kettle, pour boiling water into the candle jars melting any remaining wax. Once wax cools it will solidify and float to the top. Alternatively, you can also try placing candle in the freezer overnight to loosen any remaining wax.
Step 3
Scoop out wax and, if necessary, drain any water left in the jar. If needed, repeat steps 2 and 3 for a more thorough clean.
Step 4
Using a tack cloth, wipe down the entire jar to ensure a dry and clean surface.
Step 5
If the jar continues to have a waxy feel, use a sticky residue removal agent to clear out any leftover candle wax.
Step 6
Before spraying, read Krylon label for safety and application instructions.
Step 7
Using Krylon Fusion All-In-One Matte Sunbeam, Satin Lagoon Blue, and Matte Beach Glass, apply each to a separate jar, using even coats in a side-to-side motion. Apply 2 coats each, waiting 1 minute in between coats. Recoat if necessary.
Step 8
Using Krylon Sea Glass Aqua and Sea Foam, apply each separately in a side-to-side motion to two separate jars. Recoat if necessary, allowing paint to dry completely. The more coats of Sea Glass that are applied the less translucent the jar will be. (Please check the back of product label for appropriate dry time).
Step 9
Cut flowers down to size and arrange in the assortment of candle jars.
Step 10
Sit back and smell the assorted flowers!
